Walsall FC Still For Sale

Walsall CEO Stefan Gamble revealed today at the clubs AGM that Walsall FC are still for sale.

Gamble said ‘The club remains up for sale, this position has not changed. The Chairman is prepared to sit down and discuss this matter with anyone who can prove that they have unencumbered funds to pursue a transaction of this nature and has the best interests of the club at heart to ensure its long-term future.’

Walsall owner Jeff Bonser has remained quiet and out of the public eye for so long but news today re-iterates that he still wants to sell the club.

Whether a buyer comes forward in todays poor economy remains to be seen but most of us feel that a fresh approach to the club would be gratefully received by all concerned
