Walsall have today sacked head coach Sean O’Driscoll following a run of six games without a win.

O’Driscoll started off brightly with four wins but his short time here went sour very quickly with fans calling for his head.

The decision to not play our most valuable asset would have a major influence on the boards decision I’m sure, with his market value decreasing with every game he didn’t play.

The club really do want promotion. By sacking a manager after just sixteen games shows real intent from the club and one we will all support.

Sean O’Driscoll leaves with the Saddlers fourth in League 1.
