Walsall are set to receive around 15% from a deal which will see Jamie Paterson join Bristol City from Nottingham Forest.
Paterson moved to Forest in 2013 but has seen his chances limited the past two years under several managers and has spent time on loan at Huddersfield.
Whilst we don’t know what the fee is between Bristol City and Nottingham Forest, it will still be a welcome boost and funds which can be given to youth development and to Jon Whitney to strengthen his side.
