Walsall have re-signed former midfielder Isaiah Osbourne on a one year deal.
Osbourne is no stranger to the Saddlers having played thirty times for us between 2015 and 2017. Following his spell with us he went onto join Forest Green Rovers but was limited to just six games for them last season.
He started his career at Aston Villa before moving onto Burnley, Hibernian and Blackpool.
He signed for us in September 2015 but didn’t feature in 2015-16 season due to an ongoing injury problem however he was pivotal to us 2016-17 season and many believe had Osbourne been fit for the season before we would have gone onto get promotion.
It was revealed the other day that Osbourne was paid just £350 per week during his first spell on the basis that his wage would increase once Rico Henry left the club.
Everyone at Vital Walsall would like to welcome Oz back to the club and wish him the best of luck.
