Walsall Sign Former Burnley Winger Josh Ginnelly

|

Walsall have this morning signed former Burnley winger Josh Ginnelly on a one year deal.

Ginnelly is no stranger to WS1 having played for the club on loan two seasons ago making nine appearances.

Following his loan with the Saddlers, Ginnelly joined Lincoln City on loan and helped the side gain promotion back to the Football League. Following his impressive displays Lincoln got their man on loan for a second time in League 2 and he went onto score two goals in fifteen games.

Ginnelly was again loaned out during the second half of last season and he joined Tranmere Rovers. He once again achieved promotion from the Conference and his link up play with now Saddler Andy Cook.

Ginnelly was released by Burnley at the end of last season and now becomes Dean Keates second signing of the summer.

Ginnelly was expected to sign for Tranmere Rovers this summer but the lure of League 1 football was too hard to turn down.

Welcome back Josh!
