Walsall Sign Former Wrexham Goalkeeper

|

Walsall have today confirmed the signing for former Yeovil, Cambridge and Wrexham goalkeeper Chris Dunn on a one year deal.

Dunn played under former boss Dean Keates and goalkeeping coach Michael Oakes at Wrexham last season and went on to help the club break the clubs clean sheet record.

Dunn started his career at Northampton and went onto make ninety-eight appearances for the Cobblers before joining Coventry City.

His chances to impress at Coventry were limited to just three appearances and he moved onto Yeovil the following season.

Dunn was again frustrated to just a handful appearances in the Championship with Yeovil and moved to Cambridge in 2014.

Dunn made over fifty appearances for Cambridge and caught the eye of Dean Keates and was taken to Wrexham in 2016.

He impressed so much that he was installed as Wrexham’s number 1 and went onto make fifty four appearances for the Red Dragons.

Dunn becomes Dean Keates third signing following the arrivals of Andy Cook and Josh Ginnelly.
