Walsall have today signed former Aston Villa midfielder Isaiah Osbourne on a one year deal.
Osbourne started his career with Aston Villa in 2006 and remained at the club until 2011. During his time there he went on loan to Nottingham Forest, Middlesbrough and Sheffield Wednesday. Osbourne made nineteen appearances for Villa.
In 2011 Osbourne decided to leave in order to play regular first team football and joined Scottish side Hibernian. During the 2011-12 season Osbourne played thirty games, scoring one goal which alerted Blackpool for his signature.
Osbourne then joined the seasiders in 2012 playing fifty two times, scoring two goals.
His option of a second year wasn’t taken up and Osbourne departed for Scunthorpe in October – on a three month deal which was extended until the end of the campaign. Osbourne played twenty eight times for the Irons.
Everyone at Vital Walsall welcomes Isaiah to the club.
