Walsall Sign Matt Jarvis On Loan

|

Walsall have this morning completed the signing of former Wolves, West Ham and Gillingham winger Matt Jarvis on a season long loan from Norwich City.

Jarvis has represented England at senior level and has gone onto accumulate transfer fees of over £14m during his career.

Jarvis has not played a competitive game for nearly two years having picked up a knee injury along with hamstring and hip injuries so it’s unsure as to how much we will see of Jarvis who seems to be heading backwards in his career however you would imagine Russell Martin was instrumental in the deal.

Whilst signing Jarvis on paper seems a fantastic signing it does remain to be seen how fit Jarvis will be and replacing Ginnelly with a loan seems the very Walsall way.

Jarvis will not face Charlton today but will be available for the Saddlers FA Cup game against Bolton on Saturday.

Keats has described the signing as a massive coup for the club.
