We welcome Colchester to the Banks’s tomorrow as we bring the curtain down on yet another season of what might of been. Somehow think this will be a term used in May 2015 also!
Dean Smith ‘As I say, it will be a tough challenge. Barring a mathematical miracle, Colchester have secured their League One status and don’t forget that they beat a promoted side last weekend as we were losing to a relegated side.
I have every faith in my players’ ability to go out there and get the result that we all crave.
Only Dean Holden is the notable absence.
Milan’s loan deal ends tomorrow which will see the Chelsea man return back to his parent club. It has been a decent loan spell although Milan feels he should have scored more. One more to add to the tally tomorrow?
News to follow….
I was a huge fan of Jabo when he was here. He was like Westcarr in a sense and his hold up play was sublime. Hes chipped in with a few important goals for Colchester this season.
Colchester have won four of the last seven games between the two sides.
The last meeting here resulted in a 1-0 victory for Walsall with Brandy scoring the goal.
Walsall have won just 2 of their last 17 games.
Mr David Webb from Lancashire.
Our last match officiated by Mr Webb was our 2-2 draw with Crewe last season.
Colchester still require a point to be mathematically certain of League 1 football next season although it would take a minor miracle for the 5 teams below them to win.
We like draws this time of year so i’ll go for 1-1.
End of season party!
