Walsall v Hartlepool: Match Preview

Walsall head into their second home tie of the week tomorrow against Hartlepool, with just a couple of new injury worries to threaten to rock that recently, pretty solid boat.

Richard Taundry was replaced around half time on Tuesday through a suspected hamstring injury, and will not feature against Hartlepool.

Jamie Paterson, Lee Beevers, and George Bowerman all picked up minor injuries on Tuesday, Beevers, and Bowerman will be okay, and it is hoped that Paterson will pass a late fitness test.

Adam Chambers is still a doubt with his niggling injury which has kept him out of action for Walsall’s last three games.

Hartlepool striker James Poole, who recently returned from a long term injury lay off, was again replaced after a knock during Hartlepool’s midweek match, so he is a doubt.

Hartlepool’s Gary Liddle, and Luke James are both expected to miss this weekend’s clash due to a leg injury, and back injury respectively, that has kept the pair out for a number of weeks.
