Walsall entertain Tranmere Rovers this weekend, a massive game for the Saddlers in our quest to avoid the drop.

After both Wycombe and Leyton Orient failed to take advantage of Walsall’s defeat to Charlton, Walsall will be looking to build a gap between the two.

The Saddlers, who are unbeaten at home in six games, have just a couple of injury problems heading into the game.

Richard Taundry is still unavailable with a combination of hamstring and back injuries, while Anton Peterlin who suffered an ankle injury in training this week will also miss out.

Will Grigg and Adam Chambers have both regained full fitness and Chambers will be pushing hard for a place in the starting line up.

Tranmere have a relatively clean bill of health heading into the weekend’s tie, with a couple of players looking ready for a return.

The only definite that will miss the tie is Max Power who is out with a hamstring injury.
