The official site has published that our appeal to the FA over Anthony Gerrards red card on tuesday night has FAILED
However the whole event is more like a west end farce, although nobody is laughing at Bescot. It appears that the written evidence and video were to be at the FA by 1 pm. The club used a special delivery by the Royal Mail that guareentees delivery by 12noon, that is all very well but the FA are still waiting!!! Perhaps Postman Pat is a Macclesfield fan!
It gets worse this whole episode has cost the club £350 plus postage and packing. The club however are trying to get the money back from the Royal Mail, I imagine getting blood out of a stone is going to be easier.
