Last seasons leading goalscorer, Craig Westcarr has today sensationally signed for League 2 outfit Portsmouth.
Last month Craig revealed that he was eyeing up a move to the Championship and felt that he was still capable of playing at the highest level…however today he joined a League 2 side…go figure!
Westy will be able to score twenty goals plus next season in the basement of the Football League but why he chose to join a club so low down remains to be seen.
Westcarr topped the charts last season with 17 goals and has today signed a two year deal with the Hampshire club, with the option of a third.
