Walsall boss Jon Whitney had today admitted that whilst fans have a right to vent their frustrations but any fans that have written the team off – there’s not much space for them to jump back on the bandwagon if results improve.
Speaking to the Walsall Advertiser, Whitney said
“The boos are part and parcel of football and the fans have got a right to do that.”
“They pay their money and they can show and vent their enthusiasm like they have.”
“I’ll fight back from this and I can take some criticism and I can take some boos because that’s part of football.
‘That’s what I’ll do and when we start to turn it around and get results, I want the same people who have been with me to stay with me.’
‘The people who have written me off, fine, there’s probably not any space for you to come back on the bandwagon, I’d say.’
