Who are you anyway? Two trialists at the Banks’s

Walsall continue their assault on their league one table and have taken on two trialists to boost their squad.

Theophile N’Tame and Michael Woods joined up with the Saddlers and both started in the reserves 2-1 win at Sheffield United yesterday.

N’Tame,26, is a right-back from the Cameroon who most recently trialled and league one outfit Rochdale.

He has journeyed around Europe playing in Belgium, Slovenia, France and Switzerland. He has had mixed success, his most notable clubs have been Belgian side Union Royale Namur and Slovenian Interblock Ljubljana where he made 21 and 38 appearances respectively.

Michael Woods is an ex-Chelsea whipper snapper with no doubt a point to prove.

He made the headlines in 2006 as a 16 year old when he moved to Chelsea from Leeds. Chelsea eventually had to pay £5 million in compensation to Leeds after they were accused of tapping up the youngster. He made his debut for Chelsea at just 16 in 2007, when he came on as sub in an FA Cup match against Macclesfield. He then became stuck in the reserves and failed to make a single premier league appearance, his progress hampered by injury. He was released in the summer.

So there they are, they sound promising, Michael Woods seems very interesting indeed.

We shall see what Deano makes of them!

Up The Saddlers!
