According to DD, Darren Wrack has only suffered what is seen to be a ‘dead-leg.’
He told BBC Sport that he took the 30-year-old off as a precaution just incase the injury was worse.
He is should in theory be available for the trip to Wycombe next Saturday.
Wrack was substituted for Hector Sam on 27 minutes in yesterday’s 1-0 win over Chester at the Bescot, after Chester defender David Artell lunged in two-footed into the winger.
DD commented after the match, saying that Artell should have received a straight red card.
However, Chester boss Mark Wright said that Artell told him that he had gotten the ball.
He did conceed that two-footed challenges should be straight red cards, but he would look at the video to make sure Artell did not warrant serious foul play.
