History will be made this week as thirty one games across the Football League will be streamed LIVE to UK and Ireland residents for the first time via iFollow.
Previously only overseas users have been able to watch all matches on the club’s iFollow streaming platform with a set price for the whole season.
Normally fans in UK and Ireland have only been able to watch highlights and on the minute news from their clubs but that will all change this week.
When UK and Ireland fans can watch EFL league games
- They fall outside of UEFA’s Article 48 Blocked Hours (14:45-17:15 on a Saturday)
- They fall outside Bank Holidays
- They have not been selected for broadcast on Sky Sports or Pitch International
Our trip to AFC Wimbledon has been chosen and will be streamed across our ifollow section on the Official Saddlers website.
It may be difficult for fans to travel to Wimbledon on a Tuesday evening with work and family commitments so to allow them to watch the Saddlers in action live from their own living room is a good idea – however don’t fall into the trap of doing this regularly as you cannot beat the atmosphere of watching games live.
