Three youth team players who this week celebrated winning the Midlands Youth Cup are celebrating again after penning professional contracts aiming to be the next rising stars.
Goalkeeper Liam Roberts has already spent alot of the season as back up goalkeeper to Grof, Darlow, McCarey and Johnstone. It is hoped that he will be our back up to a permanent goalkeeper for next season.
Midfielder Jake Heath has scored 9 goals for the youth team this season and it is hoped he can follow in the footsteps of previous apprentice Jamie Paterson who recently won Young player of the year.
The final youngster to pen a professional deal is front man Danny Griffiths. Danny has already caught attention following his prolific season infront of goal scoring 10 goals for the youth team and has already played a handful of games for the reserves.
