An Evening With Gordon Banks

Walsall Football Supporters Trust are proud to present an evening with the legendary England goalkeeper Gordon Banks.

Gordon will be fondly remembered for being big part of England’s winning World Cup squad in 1966 and the world class save from Pele in the 1970 World Cup that is still played frequently today.

During his England career, Banks played over 75 times for his country and won a World Cup medal – every footballers dream!

In his club career Banks played for Chesterfield, Stoke, Leicester before moving to the MLS and Ireland towards the latter part of his career.

You can hear all about Banks time in football during this evening that is not to be missed!

The event takes place at The Saddlers Club on Wednesday 8th October, doors open at 19:00 for a 19:30 start.

Tickets are priced at £20.00 and this includes a meal.

There will be an auction of sporting memorabilia as well.
