Walsall have today confirmed that Andy Taylor has penned a new two year deal with the Saddlers.
The Taylor saga has been prolonged over the summer as Taylor was on a course in Ireland but during that time he was linked with a move back to his old club Sheffield United. However during the course of the summer, Walsall boss Dean Smith was confident that Taylor would sign a new deal.
Taylor joined Walsall in August 2012 and has become an influential member and a consistent defender who has come close to winning player of the year on two occasions.
Everyone at Vital Walsall are delighted that Andy has penned a new deal and wish him the best of luck for the new season.
