Following statement from Walsall Supporters Trust and criticism from Walsall fans the club have now issued a statement to state the awards will now be presented prior to the Swindon game.
The statement on the official site reads
Following supporter feedback, we are pleased to announce that we will be presenting our Supporters Player of the Season and Young Player of the Season awards on the pitch prior to our match against Swindon Town on Saturday 7th May.
The presentation will take place at 2.20pm.
A further presentation will take place in the Bonser Suite at 5.45pm.
