Bambers Blunder

I will never forget Dave Bamber’s debut for Walsall away at Wimbledon actually in Wimbledon, a promotion clash he was straight through must score……..no he didn’t and we lost 2-0

Only Walsall could sign a striker so tall but couldn’t head the ball, he had deceptive pace as well….he was slower than he looked and he looked slow, even when he moved to pastures new a crucial penalty miss caused the formation of a new fanzine…Bamber’s Left foot.

Perhaps now you are getting a feeling on what Bambers Blunders are all about That pass that clears the stand, that shot that goes for a corner or just something that makes you giggle.

So far Ian Ropers pass over the stand and a rueful look at the pitch and a shake of the head was tops against Scunthorpe,
But my favorite so far was crowd assisted, against Oldham Mark Wright at left back launches a clearance up field, well so he thinks, instead it loops up and in to his own six yard box……up shouts someone..’f**k me he’s crossed it’ perhaps you had to be there!!!

After each game I will post a thread to start it off unless you beat me to it, so keep watching

For our younger contributors the picture of Paul Smith is the nearest we have got this season
