We at Vital Walsall are led to believe that South Yorkshire Police are still investigating today’s alleged stabbing in Barnsley town centre which lead to an arrest and one man taken to hospital.

The stabbing took place at 8am this morning with a male sustaining minor injuries.

Football must always take a back seat when things like this happen but with the game given the go ahead – let’s go and take all three points home!

The thoughts  from everyone at Vital Walsall and the fans of Walsall FC goes out to anyone caught up by today’s events.
