Walsall skipper today hit out at the small section of Walsall fans that moaned and groaned throughout Tuesday’s 1-1 draw with Crewe.
The frustrations have grown following our run of 8 games without a win that has left our play-off dream in tatters.
Butler today told the Express and Star ‘Against Crewe there was a lot of moaning, and I thought ‘if you`re positive, the players become more positive`.”
“We`ve been playing well but it`s just been the rub of the green – we`ve had a couple of decisions go against us.”
Butler also reiterated of the clubs belief that they will be amongst the top six during the run in, Butler said “Whoever makes the most consistent run now is going to be in it. It`s all to play for.”
