Danny Webber Released

Former Portsmouth and Manchester United striker, Danny Webber has today been released from Walsall following his trial period.

Webber has played quite a few pre season games for the Saddlers this summer but following talks with manager Dean Smith today he was informed he was surplus to requirements and will look for a new club.

With the news that Webber is no longer part of Dean Smith’s plans it is hoped that former trialist Mathieu Manset will be top of Smith’s wanted men now, with the striker returning to France earlier this week.
