Walsall head for their second trip to St James’ Park this weekend knowing that the result will be crucial in our attempts to avoid relegation.

Exeter will provide no easy opposition as they look to improve their slim chances of staying in the league with a win, knowing that even a draw between the two sides will send Exeter down.

Walsall will be without Lee Beevers as his suspension following his late red card against Tranmere begins, but Richard Taundry looks set to make a return, so could replace Beevers like for like.

Anton Peterlin is also in line for a return, with striker Will Grigg pushing hard for some involvement after scoring four, for the reserves in mid-week.

xeter are able to welcome Scot Bennet and Jonathon Fortune back into the fray after both being out with hamstring injuries.

The Grecians will still be without Danny Coles (fractured spine) and Richard Duffy (groin) as well as Lauri Dalla Valle who was recalled by parent club Fulham after his loan spell at St James’ Park.
