Walsall head coach Michael Flynn says “wait and see” when quizzed about Danny Johnson after the striker scored his fifteenth goal of the season in our 1-1 draw with Tranmere Rovers yesterday.
DJ loan deal expires today (Sunday) and returns to Mansfield however Flynn said the club are still working on the deal and it’s a matter of wait and see.
Flynn thanked Trivela, Leigh Pomlett and Danny Johnson for all their help in the deal.

As DJ left the field yesterday his goodbye wasn’t one that would suggest he was leaving however the deal rests on Mansfield hierarchy and whether they will allow Johnson to return to a play-off side.
