Former Walsall manager Jon Whitney has today been installed as the second favourite for the vacant Stevenage job.
The League 2 side sacked manager Darren Sarll following yesterday’s draw with Port Vale – Stevenage have won just twice in their last ten games and find themselves 16th in League 2.
Whitney was dismissed as Saddlers boss earlier this week following poor results and performances and was replaced by Wrexham boss and Saddlers legend Dean Keates.
