Former winger Eddy Sonko has been released by Tranmere boss Ronnie Moore.
The 29-year-old Gambian International made a total 42 appearances for the Saddlers, scoring five goals in the process.
He then was released by former boss Jimmy Muddle…I mean Mullen rather stupidly, before making the move to Merseyside.
It remains to be seen whether the Gambian will sign for another English club in this difficult financial market, but Vital Walsall wishes him the best for the future.
