Homesick Leitao to leave

Walsall forward Jorge Leitao will leave the club in January to return to his native Portugal

Leitao has hit 71 goal in 258 goals for the Saddlers since joining the Midlands club in the summer 0f 2000.

But his last game for the club will be in the FA Cup third round clash with Barnsley on January 7, before he joins Beira Mar in the Portuguese league.

He told the club website: ‘It has got to the stage where I am homesick and need to go back to Portugal.’
