Walsall boss Jon Whitney has today heaped praise on Simeon Jackson following his brace at the weekend during our 3-1 victory over AFC Wimbledon.
Whitney praised Jackson’s hard work ethic and believes his performance will help nurture the younger players at the club.
Speaking to the Express and Star, Whitney said
“Those goals will mean a lot to him and he will go on to get many more.’
“Deep down he wants goals and he knows he will be judged on goals. I think he is a great example to kids that you get rewards for hard work.’
“I think he got the rewards for the shift he put in. It was an incredible amount of running he did for us.”
