John Coleman’s Walsall team Talk

I couldn’t remember them all but this press article from the Accrington Observer quotes some of the points raised..

DEVASTATED Stanley boss John Coleman could not hide his fury after his side’s seven league game unbeaten run came to an end against leaders Walsall.

‘I am so upset, I haven’t felt like this after a game for a long time, I feel like crying,’ said the Reds chief.

‘We should be beating Walsall at home comfortably. They rarely threatened and we have gifted them three points.

‘The first goal was bad enough but the second was calamitious defending. We had seven players on off-days and I won’t tolerate that again. We had no spark.

‘I had hoped to close the gap on the leaders but now they are further away. No disrespect to them, but they are not the best team who have come here yet they have left with a win. That’s perhaps why they are leaders.’

If memory serves me well he said a whole lot more as well. Of course the league table doesn’t lie and Accrington are the leagues best team…..yeh right.

If DD wants a team talk for saturdays home game against Stanley just pin this on the wall, cheers John.
