Steve Jones suffered a sprain to the ankle in Saturday’s victory over Plymouth Argyle, a scan revealed today.
The 33 year old winger went down just before half time in some discomfort and early reports suggested knee trouble, but it has now been diagnosed as a knock to his ankle.
Physio Jon Whitney has told the official site that he will be out of action for two-three weeks.
It is good news that Jones won’t be out for too long, the Saddlers need a full squad!
