The match officials have been announced for this Saturday’s League 1 fixture between Blackpool and Walsall at Bloomfield Road.
The officials are as follows –
Referee: Eddie Ilderton
Linemen: Kevin Mattocks and Kevin Mulraine
Fourth Official William Smallwood
Mr Ilderton (Tyne) last officiated a Walsall match in February this year where the Saddlers lost 2-0 at home to Leyton Orient.
In the five Walsall matches he has officiated the Saddlers have drawn two and lost three. Blackpool on the other hand have drawn four and lost four when Ilderton has officiated.
Last season Ilderton only awarded three penalties and issued two red cards – very lenient!
