Milan Lalkovic has confirmed via his Twitter feed that he has signed a 6 month loan deal with Walsall.
Lalkovic said ‘It’s official now I signed for @WFCOfficial on 6months loan.. Really happy and looking forward to play for this club #wfc #cfc’
Lalkovic is a Slovak striker who plays for Chelsea.
He can also play on either wing or as an attacking midfielder. He has great pace and trickery, but his dribbling is his best asset and is a potential threat off either foot.
In 2011 Lalkovic played 6 games for Doncaster in the Championship before moving out on loan to ADO Den Haag in Holland and then Vitoria Guimares in Portugal on a season long loan.
Lalkovic is a Slovakia Under 21 international and his quality will be welcomed given the departures of Brandy, Grigg and Paterson.
