Morris Joins Tranmere On Loan

|

Walsall have today confirmed that winger Kieron Morris has joined League 2 side Tranmere Rovers on loan until the end of the season.

Morris has struggled to cement his place in the side this season to the dismay of his mother who took to Facebook recently to show her anger towards Walsall boss Dean Keates.

Morris has been at the club since his youth days and made his professional debut in August 2013 during our 3-1 League Cup defeat to Stoke City.

Morris then joined Worcester City on loan where he played eight times scoring once. He then moved out on loan to Leamington playing four games. In 2014 he joined up with Icelandic side IBV under former Walsall striker Siggi Eyjolfson hoping to get a contract but it never materialised.

Morris then joined Wrexham to play under now Walsall boss Dean Keates, he featured eight times for the Dragons.

Morris has played one hundred and sixteen times for the Saddlers scoring twenty goals. It seems we have seen Kieron in a Walsall shirt for the last time with his contract due to expire this summer.

We wish Kieron the best of luck at Tranmere and for the rest of his career.
