CH has added to his backroom staff with the addition of David Hamilton as the new chief scout.

The 48-year-old will be responsible for finding fresh talent to put on the red shirt next season, as well as looking at future opponents.

Hutch worked with Hamilton at Wigan and Derby and still has a good working relationship with him.

He told the Birmingham Mail: I have known David for a number of years and am looking forward to working with him once again,” he said. “He is a conscientious worker and brings a lot to the table. It is important for a club like Walsall to have a dedicated chief scout who can oversee the scouting process.

“David`s primary tasks will be to identify talent across all levels and to provide me with detailed reports on our opposition.

“It is an important role and, having served the likes of Wigan and Derby over the course of the last seven years, is one that David knows inside out.”

Hamilton said he was delighted to be working with Hutch again.
