The defender who has return to the land of Oz over the summer period has had the all clear from another knee op. This time the proceedure was more precuationary, following missing all but the opening games last season. The op was carried out to ensure the joint was cleared of and post op debris and that everything had healed correctly.

The centre half who was so impressive on his debut at Rochdale has taken up trained with an Austrailian rugby league outfit to ensure that he is in top form for the pre season, where he faces a tough job to regain his first team spot.

We all wish him well and hope to see him keep some league one defenders in his pocket as he kept Rochdales (now Bristol Rovers) striker Rickie Lambert in his pocket.
