Despite the talent that was shown in flashes it is another tale of unfullfield promise.

As one of Mersons first signings it was hoped that he would add some creativity to our midfield. However it ended in a final season ruined by injury.

Some have queried whether the injury was real or a cover for a fall out with then boss Paul Merson. However when talking to myself he stated that he had not been fit for all season, the brief appearances he made were restricted by the persistant muscle injury which saw him seek specialist opinion, this had also interupted his pre season maintaince program.

However in truth the fact remains that some Bantam fans queried if he would be upto the rough and tumble of league one so the fact Richard Money has decided that he isn’t upto the rough and tumble of league two, really should be no suprise. The big question is how will the money releasd be spent, will this be the extra needed to bring in a player that Richard Money really wants.
