Forget Del Boy, George Dobson is now everyone’s favourite cockney.
The newly installed Saddlers captain is setting an example to all those around him and despite being just seven games in Dobbo is favourite to land the player of the year award at the end of the season!
Dobbo has this morning told the Express and Star that he is loving every minute of his time with the Saddlers.
“I feel like that here. I’m loving every minute of it and I’m going to keep giving everything I can for the football club.”
At just twenty years old Dobbo has become the Saddlers youngest ever captain and he said its a proud moment for him and he’s honoured to be captaining this club.
“It’s a fantastic honour for any footballer to be captaining their team.”
“I’m loving every minute of it. I’m loving the faith the gaffer is putting in me and I’m just trying to repay that on the pitch.“
We might be biased but we genuinely believe that George Dobson is the best midfielder in League 1 and at just twenty he has a bright future in the game – whether it’s with the Saddlers or we cash in on him at a later date.
Dobbo has propelled himself to legendary status for that goal against Northampton – ok let’s show it again with THAT sound track below…
