Clayton beat of stern competition from Gerrard and Denney to pick up the coveted prize. Smith picking up the Young Player Of The Season award was less of a surprize and in recent performances he has excelled at the side of Anthony Gerrard.
Vital Walsall would like to pay tribute to both players who could never have been accused of giving anything less than hundred percent this season.
