The Daily record are suggesting that Rangers might be on the verge of signing Tyler Roberts from West Bromwich Albion for a fee of around £300,000.
Roberts has been on loan with the Saddlers since August and has impressed whilst scoring five goals in a team which struggles to create many chances.
Roberts has previously had loan spells at Oxford and Shrewsbury before moving to the Saddlers and Rangers see him as an ideal signing to fire Rangers into Europe.
Roberts loan deal is due to end with the Saddlers within the next two weeks and it looks increasingly unlikely that he will remain with us, leaving manager Jon Whitney with an uphill task of finding replacements.
