The Saddlers trip to the Memorial Ground could be called off due to the recent weather conditions.

Most of the country has seen heavy snow in the build-up to the Christmas period, with football stadiums without under-soil heating falling victim to the icey weather.

Oldham’s game against struggling Tranmere has been called off due to ‘safety reasons,’ with more League One fixtures due to be called off.

There is a pitch inspection set to take place at 9am on Saturday to determine whether the pitch is playable.
