Saddlers Fans Raising Money For Charity

|

Over the next few weeks two Saddlers fans are raising money for charity and we encourage you to give whatever you can no matter how small and show your support to your fellow Saddlers.

Next weekend, Walsall fan Rob Harvey will be walking from Walsall to Shrewsbury for our final league game of the 2018/19 season.

Rob’s walk is to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK. Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men, over 47,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer every year. That’s 129 men every day!

The 36.7 mile walk will start from the Banks’s Stadium and hopefully Rob will reach the Greenhous Meadow before the 5pm kick off!

Rob has currently raised £558 for Prostate Cancer UK, you can donate to support Rob by following this link

The second Saddler set to hit the road is Craig Hollyhead. Craig is set to run the London Marathon  – the gruelling 26.2 mile run takes place this Sunday (28th April).

Craig will be joined by Marcus and Pete (the three amigos) and will be raising money for Children with Cancer UK.

Children with Cancer UK currently fund over 60 research centres across the UK, these centres investigate all types of childrens cancer and find less toxic ways of treating them.

The Three Amigos have currently raised £6,220.57 for Children with Cancer UK and you can donate to support Craig here

We would like to wish Rob and Craig the best of luck with their fundraising and their strenuous walk/run!
