Walsall boss Dean Smith today said everyone ‘to a man did their job’ as he hailed the ‘magnificent’ Saddlers.
Smith said ‘I thought we were magnificent, I`m actually fuming about their goal because I didn`t think we deserved to concede’
“We could have been out of sight. Their keeper was fantastic and was probably man-of-the-match’
Smith also took time out to praise the incoming Nicky Featherstone, saying he is an ‘excellent footballer’ and our away record speaks for itself.
