Smith may leave Saddlers

Talented young defender Manny Smith could leave the Saddlers in the summer.

The news comes after Smith’s contract talks stalled despite six weeks of discussions with between the club and his representative.

Albion, Forest and Norwich are the main clubs interested in Smith if he becomes available in the summer.

Hutch has gone on record as saying that he wanted to keep Manny at the club. However, as soon as an agent is in the picture, bigger clubs with signing-on fees become a more attractive opposition.
