Walsall boss Dean Smith spoke to the media following today’s 2-0 victory over Burton which took the Saddlers to the top of League 1.
Smith was asked if there had been any disruption following the speculation, Smith said: ‘Did it look like it? If you have been at a club as long as me, there are ups and downs which you get at any football club, and speculation.’
The Saddlers continue to have the best defensive record in England and hope to keep Smith and their stars a lot longer in the hope of finally returning to the Championship.
