Walsall boss Dean Smith has said his team are targeting a top ten finish after thumping Crawley 5-0 this evening.
Smith said “I`m being told we are only four points off tenth with a game in hand’
“The players want to get as high as they can and finish as high as they can in the league’
“We have another big game at Crewe who are fighting for their lives but it certainly gives us another big gap and teams below have got to win every game to go over us.”
Walsall have now gone over six hours without conceding a goal in League 1….what a difference a few weeks make.
