19 year old George Bowerman made his Saddlers debut on Tuesday night and boss Dean Smith says he can achieve great things at Walsall.
Fellow youngster Will Grigg has already become a firm member of the team, and Bowerman is tipped to shadow this in his season of first team action after signing a new contract in the close season.
He is boosted by Saddler’s participation on a reserve league this season and Smith says it can only bring Bowerman to first team standard.
Smith told the Express and Star: “It`s a big opportunity. I`ve always said that to him. He`s a goalscorer and there will be plenty of chances reserve games for him this season.’
As the season progresses I am sure we will be hearing lots about him so we wish George luck!
Up The Saddlers!
