Ten male football ‘fans’ appeared a Shrewsbury Crown Court yesterday charged with violent disorder following trouble at Shrewsbury and Walsall last season.
Five of the men entered a guily plea, three pleaded not guilty and two men didnt enter a plea.
Those who pleaded guilty are back for sentencing in the middle of September.
The news comes days after Walsall announced we had moved from a category 5 (low) to a category 12 (very hgh) regarding crowd misbehaviour and will have to fund an additional £100,000 to fund policing bills.
Its sad to see we were the worst League 1 side for crowd violence last season and also the fifth worst in the football league.
These are not Walsall fans
